Under the stewardship of Derek Balle, he subsequently qualified for the 2020 NZ Sires Stakes Final at Addington Raceway. An unplaced run uncovered deeper soreness issues than first thought and he was subsequently gelded. Since returning to racing in Mid Canterbury, under the expert eye of Simon Adlam in the Summer of 2021, he has rediscovered consistency with 9 placings from 15 starts,
