A couple of Xmas Crackers from Point Break

Champion reinsman, Ricky May, turned Santa Claus, delivering a couple of Xmas crackers this festive season.

It started on 22 Dec at Ascot Park Raceway, Invercargill with a dominant 1 and 1/4 length win over the 2200m mobile event for R45 to R51 pacers. Then followed on 2 Jan at Central Otago Trotting Club, Omakau, with a comfortable neck victory over the 2000m mobile.

The brace of wins takes Point Break’s career total to three wins and four placings from ten starts. He is the second winning son of Break Dance who also produced Matt Major (now racing in the USA); and the third best performing grandchild of Wave Runner.

Alwaysbealady (Always B Miki - Digital Art) narrowly holds the mantle as the best performing grandchild with 4 wins, 8 placings and $46k prizemoney.
