Alwaysbealady continued a great run this season by trainer/driver Rohan Hillier recording her first win in a new preparation. 76% of Hillier’s starters as a trainer have been amongst the top three finishers for the season to date.

Starting from barrier three on the second line the 4YM by Always B Miki was given a lovely run in the one out and two back position by Hillier. After pacing a little roughly at the top of the home straight when challenging for the lead she held on to win by 1.8m and record her 3rd victory from 8 starts with career earnings of NZ$32k.

Alwaysbealady remains Wave Runner’s only winning grandchild for the time being.
