Making it 7 wins in the USA and lifetime earnings of $225k. “The Kid” continues to sit atop as Wave Runner’s highest earner. Bonnie Joan at $201k is second, with Sand Wave third on $152k.

Pushed to an early lead from barrier four, driver Tyler Buter settled for a trail inside the first quarter. A move which proved to be the winning of the race as Kilowatt Kid got the upper hand in the shadows of the post, winning by 1/2 head over fellow kiwi bred Im a Gigolo, a 6YG previously trained by Cran Dalgety.
