Bulldog Hanover - new world record

Bulldog Hanover paces the fastest mile ever in 1.45.4 at The Meadowlands, New Jersey in winning the US$0.5m William R Haughton Memorial. Driven by New Zealand’s own Dexter Dunn and smashing the previous mark of 1.46.0 he shared with Always B Miki and Lather Up.

By Shadow Play out of BJ’s Squall (an Artsplace mare), the 4 year old stallion’s career record now stands at 21 wins from 29 starts and earnings of US$1.5m.

It’s a long way from Addington, NZ where Dexter drove Bonnie Joan to her last group win in Feb 2018 and prior to that her sister, Digital Art. Dexter also steered Wave Runner to victory twice as a junior driver.
