Kilowatt Kid delivers win 12 on the 12th

Tioga Downs, New York on 12 June

After taking an early trail from the pole position, driver Michael Merton pushed on to lead from the 1000m mark. Kilowatt Kid did the rest and held the eight horse field at bay comfortably by 1 and 1/2 lengths, pacing 1.52.3 for the mile.

His first win for trainer Patti Harmon brought Kilowatt Kid’s lifetime record to 12 wins, 21 placings and $140k in stakes money. Also his third USA win.
