Sand Wave cruises to win number 5

Aided by a lovely drive from trainer Nathan Williamson, Sand Wave cruised to his fourth consecutive victory, against the older horses, at Invercargill today. You can watch it here.

Bringing his record to 5 wins and 2 placings from 10 starts. The 3YC recorded a mile rate of 1.57.7 for the 2200m mobile as he rolled home in 55.9 for the last 800m.

It looks like the ownership group of Nine Three Syndicate, C C Alcock, Nude @ Ten Syndicate have got themselves a serious candidate for the 3YO group races ahead this season.
