Second Wave is going to be a mum

We received the good news from Macca Lodge that Second Wave is now safely in foal to Fear the Dragon. Her first foal is expected a few weeks before Xmas. Successfully through the delivery, Second Wave will become Gama Breeding’s second broodmare.

Fear the Dragon had 29 starts as a two and three-year-old winning 17 times with 5 placings for US$1.7m. A multiple Grand Circuit stakes winner, he won the US$1m 2017 North America Cup taking his lifetime record of 1:48.4.

Early indications are he will cross nicely with the Mach Three sire line, to which Second Wave is connected through her father Sir Lincoln.
