Mikra Wave qualifies easily on a low setting

11 February 2024 - Mt Harding Racecourse, Methven

Mikra Wave, an Always B Miki 3YF, became the 10th foal from Wave Runner to qualify for the races, at her first attempt. In a two-horse family affair, Mikra Wave (driven by Gerard O’Reilly and trained by Simon Adlam), nudged Sister Love (trained by Oliver Adlam) by 1/2 head to qualify 5 seconds inside the grass track standard.

We expect to see Mikra Wave debut at the races inside the next month or two. However, her younger full-sister Miki Wave will be the next to step out, at the National Yearling Sale in Christchurch on 21 February under Lot 334. Check out her profile here.
