Wave Runner becomes a Millionairess

Wavethebill (WTB) sneaks along the rail (courtesy of a Robert Morris special) to record his eleventh career victory. Taken back from barrier five, WTB settled four back the rails until the 400m mark, when those ahead of him started to make runs wider on the track. He punched through under the leader inside the 100m to get up by 1/2 head in 1:51.:5 for the mobile mile.

WTB sits behind Kilowatt Kid (19 wins) as Wave Runner’s winningest sibling. One ahead of Bonnie Joan and Sand Wave on 10 wins. The winning list is rounded out by Digital Art, Break Dance and Tuapeka Sky.

The Wave Runner family has achieved $1 million in earnings from 73 wins and 103 placings to date. 63 of the wins from her children and 10 from her grandchildren, namely Alwaysbealady, Matt Major and Point Break… roll on 100 wins as the next milestone.
