Mikra Wave warms up a treat

At only her second race day start, Mikra Wave became the 8th individual winner from Wave Runner.

Sent out a warm favourite after an unlucky fourth in her first start, at Westport Trotting Club two days earlier, Mikra Wave duly obliged the punters with a comfortable win over the 2500m standing start event. Ricky May did the steering and Simon Adlam the training. You can watch a replay here.

Mikra Wave’s win made it number 78 for Wave Runner as a mother or grandmother. She is the first Always B Miki foal from the family, and we look forward to many more wins from her and sister. Miki Wave over time.
