WavetheBill storms to victory at Amberley.

It certainly wasn’t the NZ Trotting Cup, but his finish was reminiscent of the the runs both Inky Lord (1989) and Terror to Love (2012) produced on the big day, storming home down the outside from a seemingly hopeless postion on the home turn. Patiently driven by the master reinsman, Ricky May, as he’s done so many times beore with the aforementioned top liners.

WavetheBill now brings his record to 2 wins and 5 placings from 20 starts, With refound confidence we’re hoping he will carry on the family tradition of big finishes, ala his sister Break Dance and mother Wave Runner, to many more successes.

Able to follow high speed WTB looks ideally suited to the Australian racing style. You can watch his barnstorming run here. His next race should be 13 March on the same track.
