Break Dance’s first winner as a mum.

Matt Major delivered Wave Runner’s first winning NZ grandchild today at the Amberley grass track meeting from the 1950m mobile.

After settling back from a wide draw early, the 3YG made a mid-race move to sit parked form the 800m and proved too strong for No Terror and Blair Orange in the run home. Looking like he won with plenty in hand, Matt Major (by American Ideal) now seems on track to deliver upon the early promise shown in his 2YO season for Steve & Amanda Telfer.
