29 July 2023 - Tabcorp Park Menangle - Wavethebill (WTB) hangs tough to take out the $30k Winter Championship Final for up to NR80 pacers. After burning early to lead from barrier six, in a sharp opening quarter of 26.4 seconds., WTB showed great determination to deny all challengers and win by a head in 1:51:3., the fastest time of the night. 22 July 2023 - Tabcorp Park Menangle - WTB wins a $20k qualifying heat for the Winter Championship. Driver, Josh Gallagher made a tactical decision to stay out of the mad rush (26.2 second opening quarter) for the early lead. After settling nicely with cover on the outside running, WTB pushed to the lead at the 1000m mark, steadied the tempo, then turned on the afterburners over the final quarter for a comfortable 22 metre win in 1:52:8 for the mile. 15 July 2023 - Tabcorp Park Menangle - after starting from barrier seven in an eight horse field, WTB, works across nicely to the lead. Josh Gallagher gives him an easy time through the middle stages then turns up the wick over the final 800m to record very quick closing sectionals of 55.3 seconds. WTB holds on comfortably by 4 metres, recording 2.:47:2 for the 2300m mobile. WATCH REPLAY HERE

With his hatrick, WTB surpasses the $100k earnings mark. Making him the 2nd highest NZ bred stakes winner of sire Net Ten EOM. WTB now stands 3rd on the sire’s, NZ bred, winners list behind Don’t Need an Excuse (18 wins) and Ann Bonney (13 wins).
